Locke is a rather average man with a rather average appearance. His hair, contrary to the picture, is a light brown, and has been cut at a point just slightly below his jaw. This hair curls slightly at this point, and, if given any more length, could become a tangled mess of frayed hairs. His face is long, fitting a somewhat Germanic jaw line, but still thin enough to suggest a mixed heritage. His eyes, much like the sky he holds so dear, are gray and blue. These eyes hold the sapphire blues of a clear sky, or the silver-gray of a coming storm, depending on the circumstances. Dropping down from this, a healthy body reaches for the length of the neck to the legs. Toned muscles hold under his flesh, covering what should be a gaunt and skeletal figure. The same is true for his legs and arms, both appropriately muscular, yet carrying a slightly malnourished look. His clothing remains somewhat fanciful, consisting of a coat, undershirt, pants, and boots. His undershirt is a somewhat loose-fitting white fencing shirt, held down by a pale silver strapped vest. The coat, which is usually found open, was originally olive green, though years of wear and tear through sun and wind exposure have worn it down to a tanned pale-green, though miraculously maintaining a somewhat crisp appearance. Large folded-back cuffs adorned with golden links are laid across the wrists of his coat. Several straps and buttons adorn this coat, concealing the many tools of his self-implied trade. His pants have taken on the same color as his coat, sans belts and straps. Running from the top left of his pants to his right shoulder is a single bandolier, on which several engraved bullets have been looped through. A scabbard for his sword is hooked onto his left side, and a holster on his right side.

Equipment: Small bag of tools (screwdriver, hammer, ect.), random lengths of string, and a few more things as the story progresses

History:
William Reginald Locke VII grew up as a privileged, spoiled brat. His wealthy parent dressed him in the most expensive clothes, and gave him servants to attend to his every need. He attended a prestigious academy; though the constant influx of money from his father was the only reason the school even let him stay, Locke having proven himself a bit too mentally slow to pull any good grades there. This continued until he was of fifteen years of age, when his father lost his job as a banker for the high court, and the school pounced like a hungry tiger to have him expelled. After this, his father became a drunk, and his mother left to marry a wealthy noble. His father moved with Locke to the slums, and became increasingly socially active in the community, going as far as to leave his son as he went off on several-day-long binge drinking trips. It was then that Locke decided to make a run for the armed forces. He applied for the Royal Armed Marines, and was turned down. Not wanting to return home, Locke quickly purchased a sword from a street vendor, and rushed back to the recruitment center to prove himself. After defeating two of the armed guards in a fencing match, he was rewarded with the knowledge that he was no longer noble, and could not join the higher echelons of the military. Locke was furious, and looked elsewhere for his need to get away, specifically, in a nearby tavern. It was there he found the crew of the airship Sunray.
Finding the life of the sky pirate to be exactly what he was looking for, Locke signed aboard with very little consideration. And so he began his life as a Buccaneer of the clouds. It was also aboard the Sunray that he was taught in the combat of fencing with a saber. He proved proficient at the job, and quickly became skilled… at dodging. The truth is, he was scared to death of the thought of leaving himself open during an attack, so he remained a defensive fighter. Still, he honed his skills through numerous raids and trainings, and became known on the ship as a swordsman, if not a pirate. However, like his days at the academy, this too came to an end, as his impudence towards the captain festered and developed into an attempted mutiny. For this, Locke was kicked off the ship, and left in the city. It is here that we find him, almost no money, and no home.
---
Other: Locke has little experience in dealing with magic users, and is easily panicked by flying bolts of energy. His sword is a finely crafted fencing sword, useful for fighting in one-on one combat, but harder to wield in crowd situations. The pistol is a single shot deal, and has to be reloaded after each shot, giving it a one shot limit in combat situations.
